This Mezzanine Ladder is designed for infrequent usage to access mezzanines. It is ratcheted into the climbing angle and then back into the stored position. The wheels roll on the ground when ratcheted and the handrails mechanically rise into climb position when it locks into position. This allows the user to quickly extend and retract the ladder. A quick installation with mounting bracket provided for bolt-on installation, or welded installation. The steps are 24-1/4" wide. Collapsed distance from wall is approximately 15-1/2"
